The Chairman of Klasis GKI Ayamaru, Rev. Abraham Semunya, S.Si., expressed full support for the continuation of the BPEC program. He emphasized the Klasis’ commitment to maintaining the partnership with the Muttiara Hitam Foundation Papua and Black Pearl Network Australia to ensure that the program continues, reaches more children, and brings positive impacts on the education of the Maybrat community.

The Chairman of PHMJ GKI Paulus Soroan, Rev. Carolina Maya Lulu, S.Th., also appreciated the contribution of BPEC, which has actively been teaching English to the children of the GKI Paulus Soroan Congregation. She stated that the program has further increased the congregation’s awareness of educating children as the future generation of the church and the region.

Fred Bundah, in his speech, emphasized the importance of mastering the English language as a key to various educational and employment opportunities. He explained that English proficiency would help the children of Maybrat earn scholarships, both domestically and abroad, as well as open job opportunities, especially in the tourism sector.

"Through this program, we want to help develop the potential of children in Maybrat so they are ready to compete and contribute to the development of the region," said Fred Bundah.

The BPEC program is expected to continue to grow to improve the quality of human resources, particularly the children in the Southwest Papua region.
